People play sport, music, crossword puzzles, etc. because it is fun…they enjoy it. Do you have FUN in your career or in your business!? If you don’t, that’s your treasure hunt. Most people enjoy helping people. People are most happy when they are GROWING and helping others grow. “Growth” is a turn key to happiness (enjoyment/fulfillment). Most people do not want to earn six figures. It is NOT for everyone. It may not be for you. And that is O.K. But your mentors job is to call B.S. (w/ a smile) on your excuses until you tell them to stop or walk away. Either way, great coaches will always move on from “athletes” who keep saying they can’t. Keep in mind, blindspots and breakdowns always precede breakthroughs.
Most people want smaller challenges in their life…vs…greater skills. Greater “Impact/Contribution” comes from greater skills (capacity). For your business to be “built to last”…You must discover/conclude/believe… that it aligns with Jim Collins’ three intersecting circle above? If it doesn’t, seek counsel and coaching until you know 100% for sure (either way).
